Hi Dia, When I grabbed everything, it is all without spam in the comments, and it's now frozen in time. I've bought http://posthumanblues.com and the site is up now (minus tweeks here and there.)
Wow Mark! That's fantastic! Unbelievably great! I can't imagine the amount of work that went into it.
I was going to suggest to you to try and take over Mac's blog and act as moderator to his comment sections, but I take it there was some problem with that... Dana mentioned to me about not having the right passwords. Then I thought maybe setting up a mirror blog with the stuff you'd already copied... thinking about it though, it'd probably not be possible either.
In any case, maybe we can all contribute to the cost of the .com.
The only problem I can see is that his last comment section isn't complete... and, believe it or not, there's still a couple of spam messages there! And, it isn't actually a working comment section - or is it? Because if it isn't, then chances are people are still going to go to the old blog to comment. Triptych #15 is, after all Mac's virtual burial plot. In other words, it'd be nice if we could now go exclusively to your new .com to leave Mac messages. And I'd like to do a post on PMB announcing the new and improved PHB!
In any case, kudos to you for an amazing effort! Keep me posted.
Hey there. To me, for all intents and purposes the comment page closed down the moment Mac died and we realized it. I could grab it, strip the spam and put it on the new site.
As it goes, the new site is static. I'm not allowing people to comment as Mac isn't around to comment on stuff, and its more of a memorial.
The site though is live, and I am going to post a link back here on the about page I made
Okay, Mark. I don't know that I agree about the comment page, but, considering what it's degenerated into, well, what can I say? In any case, it's your call.
I'll wait for the "about page" link before I do the post.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhhhhhhhhh....the Evil Spammer Empire has ears EVERYWHERE!

Fantastic Mark! I agree with Dia about contributing to the cost of the .com if there is anything we (or I) can do.
