Digital Blasphemy

Above are two phenomenal digital wallpapers created by Ryan Bliss: Upper - Tropic of Thetis (Nightfall); and lower - Phraxis Moon. These are just two of the many stunning, extraterrestrial views that can be found on this page from Ryan's Digital Blasphemy website.

Says Ryan:
"I have been running Digital Blasphemy since 1997. It's been my full time job since 1999. I am fortunate to be one of a handful of people on the planet who makes a living by creating 3D computer wallpaper. What started as a hobby has become one of the more recognized destinations for computer art on the web with over 15,000 current paid subscribers."

I say: wow!

  2. Saw this site a few weeks ago (via a link sent by a friend). Some of his work is quite stunning.

And I agree -- it's nice to see someone making their living from their art.
